One Day at a Time

This semester is over.
Another is just around the corner.
Goals for the next semester?
I have no idea yet.
I don't know what next semester entails.
Besides more time with friends.
More classes.
Some of them I actually fought for.
That's assuming I get through
The ones I'm in now.

But it was nice to have a night
To unwind.
And spend time with people
And open up to a good friend.
And just realize that you can't
Really have goals that depend on other
People.  It's just unrealistic.

I'm just going to go through
It one day at a time.
It's all you really can do.
