I Wanted to Wear My Vest (B.O.A.)

On a birthday shopping spree with my mom, I bought a wonderful vest from Free People that I am in love with.  Since it wasn't too hot out today, I gave it a test run and I am in love with it.  Also, it was quite sunny today so I wore my hipster glasses because they have a 400 UV and are awesome sunglasses.  I felt really cute. But feeling cute was a little distracting when I drove today.  But honestly, I just dislike driving.  A lot.

The tank top is from Banana Republic, shorts from American Eagle, shoes are Converse from a thrift store, the bracelet from Lord & Taylor, and the glasses from Urban Outfitters.

My Birthday (B.O.A.)

Well for my birthday, I went to brunch with my parents and I wanted to look cute.  So I wore this outfit and later got a tripod for my camera. As a result, I will be posting more outfits more often.  I do not want to make a separate blog for it, but I might have to double-up on entries.

The top is from American Eagle, the scarf from Lord & Taylor, the jeans are BDG through Urban Outfitters, and of course I wore shoes which we sandals by Steve Madden girl for DSW.

Too Much Fun with Scarves (B.O.A.)

It's too early in the morning to be doing anything that's actually productive.  So I've been blogging.  And learning how to tie scarves in fun ways.  In this pic, I tried to do a bow.  The tie is a little too bulky to do a cute one, but it looks fancy enough.

The shirt is from Urban Outfitters and the scarf is Hardtail.  Yeah, I know my hair is a mess, but screw it.  I'm in the thrust of finals week.  Two more tests left, wish me luck!

I woke up this morning feeling like I should do something cute with my appearance.  So I decided to wear one of my favorite tank tops with my favorite pants with my favorite flats and favorite jacket.   I also wore a score but I could not find it online.  Sadface, I know.

The tank top is from Abercrombie and Fitch (sue me).  The jeans are from BDG from Urban Outfitters.  The flats are kimchi blue for Urban Outfitters.  And the jacket is from Michael Kors.  The scarf I'm wearing is from Hardtail.

Slope Day Eve (B.O.A.)

I realized I haven't done one of these in a while.  But this passed weekend was slope day and me and my friends went out that Thursday to celebrate the last day of classes.  It was too much fun haha.

First Spring-y Day in Ithaca (B.O.A.)

The weather was freaking AWESOME yesterday.  Minus the wind.  But still, the sun was shining, no one needed to wear a heavy coat, and it was pretty warm.

The jacket is from UrbanOutfitters, the pants from American Eagle, the shoes from Steve Madden, shirt from American Apparel, and the necklace I got as a gift.

Second Monday of Class (B.O.A.)

I decided to get dressed all nice for class because I could.  The sweater I bought in Peru, the tank top from Esprit, the jeans from American Eagle, the boots from Steve Madden and the hat is from Diesel.  I got good reviews on the outfit.

Lounging in the Dorms (B.O.A.)

This is a typical "I am going no where today outfit."  I think it's really cute and comfy and I know you can see my legs, but here's a secret: I HAVE LEGS.  Mind blown, right?

The black top is from Esprit, the tank top from Victoria's Secret Pink, and the boot-slippers are from Urban Outfitters.  On really cold days, I also add thigh highs from American Apparel.  When it's in the negatives most mornings, you need to keep warm.

Double Outfits! (B.O.A.)

So today, my friend and I went shopping and this is what I wore:

Yesterday, we saw Phantom of the Opera on Broadway and Black Swan in theaters.  This is what I wore to that:

Today I am going to a dinner with Polish society and I tried to layer it up.   I think it's an appropriate look for the cold and whatnot.  So excited to eat Polish food.  The tunic is from American Eagle, the sweater dress is from Esprit, the boots and tights from Steve Madden and the scarf is from Urban Outfitters.

Kitsch Party Tonight (B.O.A.)

For me, though not officially on the blog, this has turned into a Daily Outfit Attempt.  Except DOA actually does stand for something.  Anyway, I write for a magazine entitled Kitsch at Cornell and I don't know anyone in it so I felt it appropriate to go.  Since it is snowing, this outfit made me feel snug in NYC when it was cold there.

Flannel is from BDG for Urban Outfitters, the shoes are brown from Steve Madden, the jeggings from American Eagle and the shirt is similar, but I bought it at a thrift.  I might replace it with a thermal because I have to do a lot of walking.

Pajama Rave! (B.O.A.)

So tonight I am going to my friend's frat's pajama rave and I am a little too excited.  I mean, it's pajamas and raving, what more can I ask for?  It's the great idea I never came up with.  I told MSCBFF about it and he said that it "sounds like an ABC party" where ABC apparently means "anything but clothes."  Yeah basically.  Which is why I'm wearing underwear from aerie, hat from Diesel, tank top from Victoria's Secret, boots from Steve Madden, wrist warmers from Urban Outfitters, and thigh highs from American Apparel.  And I will accompany this party with a Red Bull.  But I have to do work before that.

So today, I decided to get a bit dressed up.  The hoodie is actually a nonzip from American Eagle, the black zip hoodie is from Esprit (not Juicy Couture), tights are similar from H&M, boots from Steve Madden, bow from Hot Topic, and skirt similar from Kimchi Blue for Urban Outfitters.

Going Out in College (B.o.A.)

That's me on the arts quad on my way to some frat party!  For this one, I pair my plain, green tee shirt from Esprit with my mini skirt from Diesel.  The booties are from Urban Outfitters and the necklace I bought in a thrift store sophomore year.  DAMN that was long ago.  Though this pic might not translate it well, I felt and looked awesome.  And confidence is important when going out.

Innocence's Grad Party (B.O.A.)

Yesterday I went to Innocence's long belated graduation party.  It was pretty fun, the food was incredible, and I hung out with a lot of good people.  There was one awkward moment that sort of lasted the whole time, but whatever, it was easy to ignore.  Today, I have a picnic to go to, to which I have no idea what to wear and I haven't posted a legitimate poem in 2 days, so I might go mega casual.

The dress is from American Eagle, the sandals are like those I own that I got in Century 21, purse is from Coach, necklace is from Guess (not Tiffany), and a giant white statement ring.

Paramore at the Nikon Theater (B.O.A.)

This is the first time I am doing a non-polyvore B.O.A. in a while.  But yeah, last night I went to see Kadawatha, New Found Glory, Tegan and Sara, and Paramore in Long Island.  I went with Alice Dork and she seemed to enjoy herself. Mostly because it was a seated concert and not one of those mosh pit monstrosities haha.  Tegan and Sara are so cute live, I swear to God, they ARE Nose-Ring Pixie.  And Hayley Williams is adorable too.  My favorite part was when they started singing on a couch.  It looked nice and cozy.

So the shirt and the skirt are from Urban Outfitters, the tank top underneath is from Esprit, shoes are Converse, socks are random, and the purse is from Coach.  Also, that is what my hair looks like when it is not straightened.

Bad Movie Night (B.O.A.)

Last night I went downtown to chill with Nose-Ring Pixie, Beartrap, and The Greek for some bad movies.  Or so I thought.  We wound up watching Return of the King.  It's a great movie, but it's so long.  But making really really dumb comments at everything was the best.  Such as possibly watching it in Black-D and apparently Kelly + Regis = Rage-is.  And seeing Beartrap recite the movie was pretty freaking adorable.

Top is from free people, skirt is from Diesel, makeup from Sephora, shoes from Vans, and cute socks from Esprit.  The skirt barely covers up my butt, so I felt like a bit of a hoe, but I was a cute hoe.

Today, my facebook-mom, Nose-ring Pixie, and I are hanging out.  I am also seeing my cousin's baby later in the day and then meeting up again (I hope).  My actual mother keeps making all these plans that she mentions at the last minute when I already have plans made.  It's really annoying.

I wore a random black tank top, this new Urban Outfitters v-neck I bought yesterday, shorts from American Eagle, and really cute hi-top Vans sneakers that are pink.  Clearly, I couldn't find exactly everything I wore online.

When you're up at really early in the morning, there's only so much you can do.  I decided to sit down and plan out today's outfits.  I might get started on tomorrow's.  Plus, I sort of feel like I want to look pretty today because I'm seeing Inception.  Expect a movie review tomorrow morning.  Jeans from American Eagle, sandals I own a similar pair from Century 21, Mac mascara, Smashbox eyeliner that I am in love with, similar color lipgloss from Sephora, belt from Longchamp, and the top is from Express.

Today, Spike and Live are hanging out with me because we haven't met up since spring break.  And yesterday was their anniversary.  So big congratulations to them! (Just an fyi, we found out Michael Jackson died AFTER they made it official)

My bikini is indeed from Hurley, the shorts are also from Hurley, hoodie from some band I got at Zumiez, tote is different but it is red, and I'm wearing vans because I will be driving.  Good thing my head doesn't hurt too bad.
