I Took A Test Today

I took a test today,
And the book was right there.
On my desk.

How the teacher
Trusts me to not
Take a gander at
The notes written
In the pages,
On the poems,
And in the margins.

Imagine if I could.
Would my score improve?
It might stay the same.
