Supper Preparations

The beast has been calmed.
I say beast because my mother
Tends to evolve into a Cthulu being
When it comes to preparation
And pre-supper set-up.

But my mother has been relatively calm.
Maybe she's feeling the Christmas season.
Or maybe she realized I'm not here for a long time.

Either way, I've been more
Willing to help out.
So this is the first relaxing
Christmas Eve in a while.
